Salt Lick (Review – Vancouver)
This trendy fine dining restaurant / lounge will impress you with its ambiance, food and service. We tried the rib-eye with skinny fries and the CAB steak with a side double baked potato. The beef here is excellent and cooked just as ordered. If you like fries then order the rib-eye, it comes with a huge mound of skinny fries. We also tried for appetizer a French onion soup and a Caesar salad. The French onion soup was one of the best we’ve tasted and a hearty size as well. The Caesar salad was pretty ordinary but the croûtons were very nice with a extra kick of garlic in them. For the ambiance, you’ll right away notice the super high ceilings and the party and dining like atmosphere at the same time. It’s a good place for a date. The service was friendly and prompt. In terms of the bill, you can can get dinner entree’s or even burgers from $15 and up. The steaks we got were about $30 each which was quite reasonable for the quality received. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and we’d definitely go back sometime.
