VidZone® for PlayStation®3 gets first play of new U2 video (PS3, Music – News)
Wednesday 22nd July, 2009: A video for U2’s I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight will be exclusively premiered on VidZone® in the UK ahead of the single release on August 17th on Mercury Records.
Created by award winning animation filmmaker David O’Reilly, the video tells parallel stories of one night in the lives of multiple characters. “All of the characters are tipped over the edge, and this leads to them making changes in their lives”, said Ireland’s David O’Reilly, the director who won the Golden Bear at this years Berlinale for his short film Please Say Something.
I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight is the first animated clip for the band since 1995’s Hold Me, Kill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me.
