Django Unchained (Movies – Review)

DjangoUnchainedOfficialPosterPT

This movie is over 2 and a half hours but it didn’t feel that long.  Django Unchained is a wild western action ride full of the kind of humour, wit and violence you would expect from a Tarantino movie.  Foxx, Waltz, DiCaprio and Samuel L. all put in great and entertaining performances.  This movie is highly recommended.

Anime Saturday – What to watch now that SAO is over…

I think we were a bit spoiled last anime season with shows like Sword Art Online and BTOOOM!  This season’s anime doesn’t look even half as good so far.  Still previewing and hoping to find at least one hiddem gem.   For continuing shows, you can still at least keep watching Fairy Tail as they actually have story ongoing and not fillers like *cough* Naruto!

Anime Saturday – Berserk: The Golden Age Arc II – The Battle for Doldrey

berserk

First off if you haven’t seen the original Berserk anime series Watch IT and secondly watch Arc I if you haven’t seen it as well.

Both are excellent and a lot of fun to watch.  Arc II picks up where the fun left off and that’s a lot of swinging of a big heavy sword slaying people.  If you have to see it to believe it.

Anime Saturday – Code:Breaker – Review

codebreaker

Superpowers, highschool and lots of superpowered fights, if this is what you like then you will like Code: Breaker.  They make a decent attempt at creating a story but I think you’ll end up fighting it isn’t terribly deep.

It’s still not a bad anime to watch as it’s entertaining.  So far 11 out of 13 episodes have aired.

Anime Saturday – Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun – Animes to Watch

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun

This comedy romance anime is up to episode 11 out of 13 now.  If you are looking for an anime to watch with your special someone and have a few good laughs then Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun will fit into your plans.  The characters are all quirky and the plot has enough twists to keep you interested.

Overall rating: 8/10

Anime Saturday – Mayo Chiki – Review

This anime was mostly fun and entertaining but then it got to the end (episode 13) and you are left really hanging nowhere.  The story seems very unresolved and there’s no signs of a second season.

So if you don’t like not having closure then stay away from this one.  If you don’t care and want to watch a fun anime then sure.

DragonBall Z – Saiyan Saga (Movies – DBZ Live Action Trailer)

Fanmade DBZ movie trailer, I hope these guys end up making a full length feature movie.  It’ll be pretty sweet if it’s like this trailer.
