UK Schools Computer Animation Competition 2009 – UK-wide
Schoolchildren and sixth form students all across the UK are being challenged to unleash their creative talents and enter the UK Schools Computer Animation Competition 2009, with a closing date of May 1.
The competition is now in its second year, and in 2008 attracted 230 entries from 55 schools, with over 400 children attending the Film Show and Awards day at The University of Manchester.
Prizes for the 2009 competition include notebook PCs, digital cameras, and MP3 players, and winning entries will be shown at a high-profile Animation Festival at the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry on 26 June 2009.

Game Republic Student Showcase 2009 – Sheffield Hallam University, UK
